ski pole

first time 189 sport owner. Does the single ski pole have the strength to pull a towable around the lake? does it also have the strength to pull a heavier skier around the lake? Feeling a little dumb though, but don't want to damage my boat at all anytime. how do you attach the ski rope and tube rope to this single pole without it comming off?

I have a nitro 288 which is a very similiar design. There should be a loop on one end of the tow rope that you just let ride on the white plastic ring near the top of the pole. That ski pole,which is roughly 3inches in diamete,r can take a big load. I've towed mutiple tubes at the same time with no problems. Also no problem pulling a big salom skier.
