Shimano Chronarch CI4 Baitcaster

Just bought a new Shimano Chronarch CI4 for my spinnerbait rod. Not sure why I bought such an expensive reel. Hope it's worth the extra $100 over my usual Citicas and Curados I'm going to try and get out this week to give it a spin.

Finally got to use my Chronarch CI4 yesterday. I mounted it on a 7' Med Heavy Fast action Clarus rod. I used a 1/2 oz spinner bait and put a little tension on the reel so the drop was a moderate fall rate. Using 20lbs line it sailed an easy 35yrds casting it side saddle with little effort. I adjusted the drag some and that was it -- right out of the box. Very smooth. Still not sure if its worth the money for a weekend (and when I take leave during the week) bass fisherman. I'll probably stick with the Curados. All though I did just order a Chronarch 50E. I just don't like spinning reels/rods.
