Did the $1,700 include templates and installation?

I had a local authorized installer quote an aluminum 17.5’ bass boat and it came in at $3,500 to $5,500.

They would digitize deck first.

If so it sounds like a great price compared to what I was quoted.

Nope. They came measured and when ready came and Installed.

That is looks super nice. I bet that padded deck will take a lot strain off your legs and back from a day of fishing. Awesome upgrade!

Is the material very heavy? Do you know how it compares to the weight of carpet? I think a good carpet is 20oz per yard?

How do your deck lids fit? Are they snug like with the carpet surrounding the deck lids?

I am looking at a carpet tear out and reinstall myself. For what you paid it is worth it to have it done by someone else.

Does it get very hot in the sun? Carpet seems to be the only material I've found so far that doesn't get scorching hot.

It’s not hot. And it’s not snug. I’ll add carpet to the inner hatches.
