Sea Foam has Alcohol in it??

I was led to this on another Forum. Thought you guys might find it interesting. What is your opinion? I used Sea Foam to stabilize the gas in my Z-6. Hope it wasn't a mistake! :unsure:

All alcohols are NOT the same. Very different chemistries that have very different properties. Alcohol in fuel - ethanol - has very different properties from isoproponal that is in Seafoam. Not sure of exactly what, but I do know that Seafoam works in keeping my outboards (and all my two-stroke small engines) running well even after long periods of storage.

Not according to the chart.

Maybe it is just a very small amount in the Sea Foam though! I guess I will see next spring. It must be good as said before Bob uses and reccomends it.

Look at the MSDS report for Seafoam.

It is 10-20% Isopropyl Alcohol (Isopropanol)
