Rub strip

Went through a bad storm on vacation. The fenders did not protect the boat enough and the rub strip is pretty well shot in places. How difficult is this to replace or should I take it in?

You might want to just pop the middle piece out and see if the existing inner section is still ok. The part that takes the beating is the center "pop in" piece. The other part is the part that is screwed down to your hull. Chances are you can get a replacement center strip at any local boat supply store and have it cut to the length you need to go around the boat. Don't forget to save the piece where the two ends meet!
