Thanks all for the info. Went home and checked for circuit breaker. No such animal, next found the fuse off the battery and low and behold, if looks like something had arced as the plastic was melted to the fuse and the fuse holder. Why don't they use those new plastic fuses instead of the glass ones. I always seem to break them and cut myself. Anyway, got the old one out and put in the new, and voila...trolling motor is on line again!!

Let's see how long this one last. Can you pick up those fuses at an auto parts store?

Installing a circuit breaker will definitely eliminate problems in the future. I would recommend you do that. They are very cheap, and can save lots of money later.
