Prop

Ran through mud an rocks.scracth lower unit.but prop had gotten bit dinged up.prop repair shop cleaned the edges up where they was damage.but now my techometer will not go over 5400 rpm.at wot.before it would hit 6000 rpm wot.which 19 pitch .2005 Mercury 90 h.p.i don't run it over 5500 rpm.by having edges cleaned up would this affect rpms.solas 3 blade aluminum prop.thks

the prop shop probably built the prop back to original pitch and diameter.if they just ground off the bad stuff you would be more then 6000 RPM's also that motor should not be running over 5500 RPM'S any way
