Prop Problem

I have a Nitro Z7 150hp Optimax ,I just went from 24p to 21p now I'm gettin 5800rpms but not achieving max speed ,should I go wit a backplate?

A jack plate may increase your speed and it should also increase your rpms.

A jack plate increased my rpms and speed 4 to 5 mph on my Z7. ​

I run a 23 pitch prop with a jack plate and depending on the time of the year turn 5500 to 5750 rpms with 2 persons and loaded.

Well I got jack plate 8inplate on ran 21p to much rpms an only 55mph ,23p 5800 rpms an 55 only half tank of fuel light tackle Girlfriend only weighs 125lb I should get in da 60s I ran it in light chop
