Prop and Jack Plate ?'s

I have a 2013 Nitro Z-7 150hp xs with I think a 23 or 24 Temptest( I really think 24) pitch prop
My questions are

1. What would a 6in jackplate benefit for putting it on my boat?

2 What would putting a Fury prop in maybe a 25 pitch or even a 24 pitch do far a performance?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
