I do not know what you are looking for, but I called BassPro about removing the handle so I could open to clean:
Thank you for contacting basspro.com. To remove the handle from the Johnny Morris model JMX10HLB Reel, tighten the star drag as much as possible, and pull the star in towards the body of the reel. While holding the star, turn the handle backwards until it comes off. To put the handle back on, hold the star in while turning the handle forward. Release the star drag. You will feel the handle lock into place. I have also attached the Owner Manual for further assistance. Please contact us again if you require further assistance. We appreciate your business.
