Nitro Sport Boat Differences?

Hi everyone,
So I'm completely new to the forum, but I figured I'd find some bigger brains about boats on here since mine is a little lacking in this regard lol. Can anyone tell me the differences between the Nitro 188 and 189 sport, and the 288 and 290 sport? I plan on buying one of these in the next 6 months- but I can't pinpoint the differences myself. The photos of these boats don't look drastically different in most regards.

the 188 is 18.08 ft long, the 189 is 19.4 ft long. The 188 weighs 2632lbs, the 189 weighs 1675lbs
the 188 max hp is between 115 to 150 hp (depending on when boat was made) and the 189 max hp is 200

The 288 is 20.08 ft long, weighs 3180 lbs, max hp is 225. Could not find decent info for the 289

Very good, well that pretty much sums up my debate then. The 189 sounds like the one I'll be getting. Thanks for the help!
