A new World Record Spotted Bass caught this past Saturday. Bryan Shishico boated a 10.27lb Spot this weekend on Pine Flat Lake in California during an American Bass Association event. I wonder if it tasted any good....

Hey, that's the same fish I threw back last Sunday... :)

Wonder if this is a trend toward bigger spotted bass. The weights I have heard locally so far this year suggest that average spotted bass are coming in bigger than recent history. My own catches indicate that as well. Last year I was catching .75 to 1.5 lbs pretty regularly, and this year, it seems like 1.5 is the smallest I am pulling in, with 2 to 3lb. being more common.

Now THAT my friends,...is a TOAD!!!!.....Naw,....make that a Super-Toad!!!! Awesome fish!!!
