Just finished the install of new carpet in my 2006 Nitro 288. Lots of work, especially taking the old crap off, but well worth the effort and savings. I am putting pics in my library if anyone one is interested in taking a peek.

Hey big fish it looks awesome man great job. i have a 2000 nx 750. My carpet is really really worn. Ive been wanting to do this for a while now. How did u get the old glue off and what kind of glue did u use? Thanks big fish

Hey Chris. I used a scraping tool, in this case a painter's multi-tool. and just gave er. I scraped as much of the glue off as I could in this fashion. I then took 60 grit sand paper and used the power sander to get any residue remaining. As for the glue I used to glue the new stuff down, I use 3m Super 77 spray glue on everything except near the edges. For the edges I brushed on Lepage's Extra strength contact Cement. Great stuff.
