OK,

Neeley and Rhonda popped in for a couple of days and I was able to talk him into goign fishing for a couple of cats. (fish that is)

We had a really good day as you can see from the pictures!!!!!!!!

I have quite a few more, but no room to post them!

Here is one of the Frozen Northern guys in action:

Followed quickly by this:

Not to end the day on a small note, here is one of the ones from the end of the day. Notice that it warmed up enough for the Northern guy to take off his jacket!

And here is one from early in the day......soon after we went out and caught our shad for bait.

Neeley did catch a NICE carp on light line...he ate a sabiki rig hook...was fun to watch. Even had to go and put the TM on CHASE mode for him!

Carlos

nice fish guys, and neely smiled after he caught a catfish?

mike c

Meow..... great pictures and great fish and it's a hoot to see Neeley smiling. That first picture of him holding that cat could be published it's so good.

Uncle Billy

Carlos - Great you got Neeley out of the store in MI for some fishing, MAN you didn't get any kittyslime on the S&T carpet hatch I hope!!! LOL

Trep

Hey Trep!

Did not, look in the 2nd and thrid picture. I use a carpet piece over the S and T logo to help protect it.

Does not overly help the back deck, but that is MUCH easier to clean then the front one!!!!

Slime comes up pretty easy when dry....comes up in smelly flakes!

Awsome cat's , here is one that some un-none fihser man caught at my local lake yesterday that weighted 51 pounds of cat macknugets,........strange to see a ranger boat for cat fishing.

Ace,

That is a nice one! Looks a bit warmer there though HAHAHA What is your water temps?

Come on man :) ! Ranger is for fishing, not just bass fishing, but anything that tugs on the line fishing!

Carp, catfish, crappie, stripers, bass (large and small) bluegill, croakers, spots and anything else that happens to get in the way of the lure HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Carlos I'm inn south Texas that would be Laredo, Tx.

The gateway too Old Mexico.

I think that we hit air temp was about 99 and the water was around 68.

Friday we were 104 :D.

I just love this south Texas weather.

YEEEOOWWW sumemr time!!!1 And we are back in the 20's tonight...uugghhhhh will keep the water temps down though to put the cats in the holes!

Holy crap.....my arms are finally recovered enough to type!!!

Those kitties sure can tug a line, and it's a real blast when you got 3 on at once and all Carlos wants to do is take pic's....a little help here please?!?

We had a blast, and Carlos put us right on the fish.....hell, I was having fun just catching the shad for bait!!!

I wish I'd have known you were around Ken..I'd have tried my best to get up there to see you!;)

I'm going to have to try and drag some of these guys over to the Eastern Shore of Maryland to try a couple of those rivers for Kitties..I have never seen anyone on those rivers fishing for Cats, it could be some great fishing, especially on the Choptank.

Would have loved to finally meet you Ken but maybe someday ok?

Uncle Billy

Cool! I think it's great that fishing in the shadows of big cities like Pittsburgh, DC, and Buffalo have improved.

Neeley, it was a great time man...really was!!!!

UB, it was more of an in and out while he was here. Did the Museum of the Marine Corps, DC and fished! A full three days thats for sure.

Marty, so true, BUT, there is NO WAY I would eat anything that came out of the River up there.....you should see the stuff floating.....uugghhhh

Plus, we catch the shad from a warm water discharge sewage plant!

CIII,

Wanna spend an afternoon fishing for them here in St Clair when you come? There are some dandy's here too....

Mini

I would venture a guess that the water exiting the sewage treatment plant is cleaner than the water it is going into!! AND NO we are not catfishing in May.....NO WAY.....It's Toadapalooza!! I want my 6lber!!

TOXIC

toxic,

we have been crushing the bass on the river and on anna, ive got 1 over 8 2 over 7 and 1 over 6 and lots over 5. get on it lets get out there.

mike c

Mini, looks like he Toxic one has spoken....hahahah a 6lber would be nice!

Mike, you are getting good ones on the River now????

carlos, i was prefishing with a friend of mine for the lapr series opener and i had almost 20 lbs each day, and he had one that went 7 14. they are on the move, both on the main river and in the creeks. time to put the cats to sleep, we can always go get us some smallmouth...
