Has anyone used or had experience with a Comp Prop. Bass Pro and Cabela's advertise these for about the same price. The maker claims they are specified as original equipment by some motor manufacturers. I sure haven't seen one, but I am intrigued by the price. I don't like stainless steel for the reason Mac brought up in a previous post. They don't give. As I've mentioned before I am a stump magnet. I am running a 40 horse Merc and need a spare, but these things are cheaper than aluminum. I'm definately living on borrowed time without a spare. Anyone have one? How do you like it? Pros and cons? Thanks.

Hey Gene,
I bought a Comprop for a spare in my "Toon" last fall. Other than the fact that I ordered the wrong pitch, it's fine. Maybe even better than an aluminum wheel. Anyone got one for a V4 Evinrude 19" that they wanna trade for a 17"? Ha Ha.
