Minn Kota Ultrex foot petal too big

Looking for help or info. Recently purchased a Minn Kota Utltrex for my 2011 Z7. My issue is that the Ultrex foot pedal is too big for the recessed well. Has anyone else had this issue before and what aftermarket recessed tray was used or if that is even an option. Thanks. Any info or help is greatly appreciated.

There are some you tube videos on this exact topic. You can get an aftermarket tray to install and trim out the recessed area so that a larger tray fits.
