Mercury Motor

i have a 2005 nitro 188 sport with a 115hp mercury 2 stroke. i have 3 motor trim locations on my boat: 1 on the bow; 1 on the throttle; and 1 on the motor itself. both the bow and the throttle work fine, in both directions, but the, motor trim, stopped trimming up only...it still trims down. i know that it is probably 1 of or all 3 things or more: the relays, solenoid, or the switch itself. i tried the relays first by switching the 2. same result with no up. solenoid is getting 12 volts but i didn't perform a bench test yet. my question is- can i definetly presume that it is the switch alone because it's the most expensive item..about $90. any replies would help...thanks chris.

if 2 out of 3 work then the switch on the cowl is bad they are all connected together.

Thanks Jerry that's what I was afraid of because its the most expensive of the three possibilities. Will order new one...
