May 23, Arkansas River Tournament

Hey guys if your down in Arkansas this weekend, the Lamar Bass Club is having an open buddy bass tournament, Saturday, May 23rd, 6:00 am till 3:00 pm, on the Arkansas River, at Clarksville, Arkansas, leaving from the Spadra Park east ramp, entry fee is $40.00 (80% return) per boat plus $10.00 Big Bass Pot (100% return). This tournament is leaving from the closest ramp to where some of you saw Mark Menendez, KVD, Denny Brauer, and others fish the Diamond Drive Elite series. This is a club fund raiser. Saturdays weather should be good. Come have a good time and fish with us Saturday.

How are the river conditions? Small craft advisory last I checked. Our next tournament is there June 4. Any tips? Favor baits?

Check out the tournament info from this weekends Mr. Bass tournament. Get5Bass covers Arkansas fishing like no one else, The river is muddy but clearing as the flow and height are dropping all week. The creeks are fine. Slight chance of rain Saturday PM but the tournament should be a good one.
