what does it go to? Year , make and model boat? It appears to be the end of a rub rail.

It's the Transom cap, as Airforce says, you need the make and model of the hull and it shouldn't be too hard to find.

It is a 2003 Nitro 700.

First I would go to Great Lakes Skipper and more than likely they'll have one. maybe a Nitro dealer will order one but probably more likely Great Lakes will sort it.
