I have a 2017 Tracker ProG Guide V16, Merc 60 Hp 4 stroke, Lowrance Elite 7 Ti, Minn Kota 12v 42 lb. I fish some rivers with current and deep water trolling. Id like to stay away from expensive Lithium batteries but would not rule it out for my Minn kota battery. I still have original batteries in it but would like more capacity. Both are single battery configurations. I dont fish every weekend, live in Michigan where boat is in storage half the year.

My Classic XL came with a group 24 battery for cranking, and a group 27 battery for trolling motor. Both were undersized for their jobs. I ended up getting a lithium battery for my trolling motor and combining both original batteries for cranking/electronics duty. I can fish multiple days without any problems, or charging now. IF the lithium last 10+ years like it's supposed to do I'll be thrilled.

When one of the batteries from my cranking combo dies I'll probably replace both with either one group 27 purpose built marine cranking battery or two standard, inexpensive group 24 LGM batteries.

FWIW I got a 125 amp hour Ionic lithium battery. It's WAY overkill. I've never ran it under 60%. My trolling motor is a 12 volt, 55 pound Terrova with gps and spot lock.

Can always build a lifepo4 lithium Battery. Built Mine for around $350 or so
each. There 105AH. Bought from AliExpress and probably Grade B batterys but will last my lifetime. One is a stater battery with Super Caps. (Compasitors) Work great with outboard with Stator charging.

Have you considered upgrading to AGM batteries. I just purchased 2 Grp 27 Marine dual purpose to replace the Interstate Grp27 and Grp 24 lead acid that came with my boat. I run Lowrance Elite Ti2 7,Hook2 7 & 5 Split Shot units, the AGM's will give me the power I need to run my electronics and the 42lb MinnKota on the bow, along with being able start my motor. I use a Promariner onboard charger when charging them. If you switch to Lithiums , you must have a battery charger capable of charging them.
