live well issues

I am having a problem with my large live well in the rear of my boat not draining compleatly. It drains until there is less than an inch of water left and then stops. Has anyone heard of this before?



2012 Tracker Targa 18 WT



My Theroy: The connection for the drain spout is an "L" and is turned up instead of down/sideways causing the drain hose to have a "rise" in it. It risies above the water level that is left in the live well, not allowing it to drain below that level.



Thoughts....ideas.....recomendations........just tring to get an idea if its an easy fix that I could perform instead of bringing it to BPS.

If it is set to drain, it should be able to expell all the water in at least two situations I can think of.



1. Getting boat on plane.

2. When loading on trailer with even a slight grade.



If the 'L' spout is turned up and you have room to turn it down, that should be an easy DIY project.
