Looking for an led light kit for my trailer....it has the round tail lights...thanks.

Eric

Can you show me a picture of your current setup, and does it have a rubber grommet holding the light in place? Picture would really help. But I am a LED fanactic - I LOVE the stuff. I've already replaced my stock lights with LED's on my new rig.

For round LED types, look here and pick what you like best. Optronics is top notch for customer service. I know I called them about a unit that went bad after 3 months, full replacement - no questions ask since I told them how I tested it to rule other problems out.

This is the one I'd recommend for the brightest light (12 diodes as opposed to 10 standard) http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Lights/Optronics/STL23CCRB.html

and depends on your trailer light setup now

BUT if that mount type doesn't work for you, there's the standard flange mount 10 diode I would also recommend http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Lights/Optronics/STL42RB.html

Do you have any plans on replacing the rest of your lamps for LED's???

Take a look at my boat's trailer LED's

Best is to Google it.

I've been checking a few sights, cq, but I'm finding mostly square or rectangular lights...was hoping someone with the same trailer may have done theirs.....on with my search for now.

My trailer has the long oval style lights, with the rubber grommets....I may have to piece the kit together from individual parts, which will be fine if I can't find an all-in-one kit.

I see you're in WV, wish I was closer to help out as I love to do wiring (most of the time). ;)

OHHHHH you said round lights, you didn't say oval. Heck, those are easy to get. But you really don't need the kit, unless you don't mind the 25ft of wire they send with it. http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Lights/Optronics/TLL36RK.html

Those give you 2 marker lamps as well, but if you have extra marker lamps say before/after the fenders. let me know. Be sure to look at the link for this. I also don't use their quick connectors, as connectors like that SUCK (corrosion, etc). I always use heat shrink connectors that have some dielectric grease in them (not cheap either).

Sorry Eric, I just realized you said Oval WITH gromments. Let me go find those, not sure etrailer has them.

Ok, now there's several of those without the grommets. So IF you screw yours up getting the current lamps out (they can be TOUGH) you can get grommets (6.5 in ovals is standard). Here's a link to those, can't get that in a kit, you have to buy lamps individually, so if you want marker lamps, show me a pic of what you have currently, especially those by the tongue area. See if this one meets your needs http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Lights/Optronics/STL22RB.html

This is a grommet mount light, comes without the grommets for less than $20.
