Lakemaster Chip Went Thru Laundry In Pants Pocket

Removed a lakemaster chip from my helix 10 chirp si gps g2n and put it my pocket and it went thru the washing machine. Should this chip be still useable? it looks normal and does not appear damaged. Expensive don't don't want to risk anything.

I would put it in a baggie of rice for a few days, then try it. Rice will pull moisture out of electronics dropped in water
