Has anyone fished this very large, very shallow body of water? We are renting a place on the Rock River, south of Lake Koshkonong in late June and I was hoping for some pointers. The kids will be with us. They would be happy catching hammer-handle pike if the action is hot. I heard the bridges on the river are good for walleye, but I suspect those structures get a LOT of fishing pressure because, from what I hear, that's probably the only location where the water is >6ft deep.

There are some good "eater" walleyes and some medium sized ones.. Lake-Link is a good source of info.
