May someone would know the correct answer to this question ----- i have a 98 savage 884 with 150 Merc EFI want to add 6" jack plate - Manual - are the steering and shift cables long enough or will they need to be replaced - my tracker dealer has no clue nor does the bass pro shop boat center in IL. How long would it take a qualified mechanic to perform install if cables were long enough - and if the neded to be replaced? Thanks guys - maybe somone has the same boat and completed this ad on.
