I need to determine the current value on my ProTeam175 40HP, boat, motor and trailer for insurance.

Can anyone suggest a way of determining the values?

thanks

How much would it cost you to replace it new??? Then decide on the size of deductible you want. At the very least make sure it's insured for the amount of your loan anyway.......your tackle should be covered on your home owners if you have that.

If it"s a new boat B.P.S. in Auburn Hills, MI listed mine

as 50% on the hull, 40% on the motor, and 10% on the trailer. Mine is fiberglass, it might be different for alum.

John:

Did you buy the boat new last year? If so then you have what you paid for it last year and you could figure a certain % of depreciation, say 20%?

Also, you can check NADA values at http://www2.nadaguides.com/ and look up Marine. Also, try www.boattraderonline.com to see what folks are currently selling your boat/motor today.
