Installing Gas cap/fill assembly

Need to replace the gas cap/assembly on my 170DC. I had the old style gas cap and found out from Don Long that that part has been discontinued. I received the new style gas cap/fill assembly and it looks like something I could do myself. Has anyone installed one of these and if so, is there anything I need to do other than connecting the gas and vent lines? Thanks in advance for your help.....Al.

I had to have the cap replaced on my 901. It got broken at the ramp when it took a pounding from the waves on a windy day.
The dealer charged me $74 to fix it. The cap assembly cost $14.

...don't forget the ground wire. You'll see what I mean when you take the old one out.
