How to access dash electronics

Hi,
I am having troubles with my networked Lowrance gen 3s. I get TX Error 255 bus off message. I am hearing that problem is either loose connections to backbone or faulty backbone. it is not obvious how to access the electronics behind the drivers dash. Can anyone point me in the right direction? 2018 Z20.

If it is anything like my 2020 z19 you remove the windshield.
