Help!! Trolling Motor Problems

Help!!



I've got the 50 lb Motor Guide Trolling Motor on my Nitro 700LX. My problem is when I use it, the motor quits propelling sometimes when I turn it left or right or straight. This is driving me nuts. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.



Any suggestions?

Sounds like a short in the head of the TM. You may be able to remedy the stuation yourself, however if it's within the two year manufacturer's warranty you should let a tech do it. Good luck.

I had the same proble with my trolling motor on my 700lx. One of the wires going to the switch was just barely connected to the terminal. The terminal end on the wire had swelled just a little making the connection loose. I squeezed it back together a little and put it back on. It has been fine every since.
