Anybody here have experience with bottom paint for freshwater applications?
My Larson bow rider sits in Lake Hartwell from April to November. The freshwater growth is ugly, and the impact on performance adds up after a couple of months of slime build up.
I clean off the growth at the end of every season, but the bottom of the boat is badly stained. Thinking about having a local yard sand down the gel coat and giving it some type of hard coat, but there's so much less info out for fresh water than there is for salt water applications.
