Does anyone remember Herter

I used to get the old Herter's catalogue and buy some of their stuff. Some was interesting and a lot was junk. Cabela's still sells their ammunition.

When you are 16 in the mid 1960's and you do not like most of the rods sold in what few stores you had, we took pride in building rods that were fitted to us. Plus $2.50 was two dates on the weekend and gas money.
