This year, my family and I had an epic soft water season up here in Ontario, Canada.
I picked up my very first boat (2018 Nitro Z19 Sport, with dual Talons) and we definitely made the most of our first summer on it.
My 10 year-old caught and lost a TONNE of fish, caught her PB largemouth bass (4.3 lbs scaled) and cemented her fishing addiction.
On our last outing (a couple of weeks ago), I caught this early Fall TOAD on a topwater.
On the very next cast, something BIG swung and missed on that same topwater bait, but connected on my follow-up cast and I landed this beauty (I didn't want to stress her out any further after the fight, so, she was set free (properly released) without being scaled.
We really do have some GREAT fishing up here in the Great White North!
