I mostly Bow hunt in the fall so fishing has taken a back seat....Until now. Lost my hunting lease so I am looking to do a lot more fall bass fishing. I have the 591 all fueled up and ready to roll but I have very limited fall experience....In fact, I have never bass fished after mid September!

Looking for bait suggestions for inland Michigan lakes. Anyone have a "go to" or favorite technique?

Thanks,

Randy

I dont know about Michigan but here in New England a slow rolled spinnerbait or a rattle trap are the ticket for me when the water gets cold.

It's a lot like spring,.....same locations,...same baits,...same patterns...and try the deep weed edges that still hold green weeds. Main thing to remember is ya gotta slow down more. Also,..the later in the day you go..the better,.after the water has warmed a bit!

Spinnerbait, Crankbait and Topwater early then, deeper water later.

Agree Mac....my better bites in fall come in the afternoon:cool:

Find rocks and throw cranks...that works in TX and LA anyway. Not sure about those Yankee bass.
