So I had a 2001 sport with a 200 XR6 that went south. I found a 1996 Mercury 200 not EFI good compression. I have a cpl issues, So should the oil pump be a drip to the fuel line or steady. I ask because used the oil pump off old motor due this one had the bypass oil set up. I don’t see how you can regulate that so put old motor oil pump on that is good but just wondering how much it should put out. I want to make sure it’s getting enough oil all else seams ok.
