Engine Beep

I have a 929 Nitro with a Mercury 225 xps motor. Intermittently when I hit my trim switch I get a single beep warning. The oil reservoir is half full and the small reservoir on the engine is full. Any idea what the alarm is for? Only does it. When I trim the engine. Thanks

While were on the beep subject. My 150 optimax gave me a warning peeeeeeeeep and shut the engine down to idle for a few seconds then it was ok. Time to go to the shop I guess.

Had the same problem with my 150 optimax this spring and it left me dead in the water. Turned out to be the water impeller. Get it checked out before it leaves you dead in in the water.

Going to take mine in tomrrow morning asap. With only one tech and first come first serve it could be a week or two. I used to work there but that doesn't give me any more pull. Another South Dakota trip is in the wings as soon as it's done.
