Engine Beep, soundsl like I need Bob B!

Bob I have an 05, 115 opti that when I am running WOT and turn sharp to the right the motor will sometime beep (continuous) until either I straightener back out or slow a little, but never to the left. Don't remember my boat ever doing this before??????



It sounds like it is overheating but everything is fine such as pee stream, water pressure etc?????? Has oil and new impeller.

Do you have a transducer mounted to the "left" of the motor?



Edit...had my left and right or is it port and starboard mixed up...sheesh...

It is to the right of the motor.

Do me a favor, remove the transducer, tie it up out of the way and repeat your test.....let me know....

low oil sound?

Not low. It has quit and only happened once since. I think it was due to the tranducer but never really happened before.
