After I let my boat trailer sit for a while then try to move it, there is a slight grinding sound that eventually goes away after I pull it a bit. Sometimes there is enough friction to make it a bit difficult to even move the trailer. But once I "break" it free, it rolls smoothly albeit with the slight grinding sounds. I hava 205sf with tandem axle and drumb brakes. I belive the sounds are eminating from the brakes.

I believe the problem is the brake drums rusting after being exposured to the water. If it only makes the grinding noise for a short period of time and then goes away I believe you're ok. As long as the brakes still function.

i agree with reno, being an automotive tech now for 10years i see alot of the same problems with cars that either sit for a long time, or vehiles that drove through deep water(dunking the trailer)then are parked overnight/or a few days. hit me up if you got any other questions
