Bob B? Anyone? Water Jacket Gasket Failure

I have a '92 Mercury 35 hp that is leaking water around the spark plugs. The engine still runs, so I do not think that water has breeched the engine itself. Since I did not get an initial response to my first post, I went searching else where. (I hate cheating on this place!). I found similar issues and most seemed to tie to a failed Water Jacket Gasket. Anybody ever replaced one? If so did your engine show similar symptoms?

That would be a 45HP / 4 cylinder 2-stroke. Common problem with those engines. Replace the gasket and all will be fine.

Yes it is very easy......as long as the bolts are not corroded in.
