Boat Lift

I am building a boat lift and would like to know if slings can be used to lift my 2006 Nitro NX 750 SC. The weight of the boat is approx. 2300 lbs. and am thinking of using a 4000 lb. capacity boat lift.

I don't see why not as long as the sling is rated for the weight.
