I'm planning to build a reverse flow, trailer mounted smoker put of an old 250 gallon propane tank. I have a couple of sets of plans. I want reverse flow because of the consistency of the heat and smoke. I've been slowly accumulating the necessary items over the years. I'm down to just needing a couple of sheets of steel and I'm ready to start.

A couple of idea pics are below. Neither of thr pics are reverse flow but they wouldn't be hard to change.

Any thoughts or input?

Starting to accumulate parts for the smoker build. Trying to decide if I want to mount it to an old 2 horse trailer frame I have or get a new to me trailer. Thoughts???

I was going to buy a Harbor Freight engine hoist to build it but Mrs Boss wanted a tractor. We are the proud owners of a Kubota L3901HST with a loader. She runs it way more than I do. That should more than handle my lifting needs.

Wow. A wife that loves to fish, loves the outdoors, and likes tractors.... I'm a lucky man.
