Does anyone know much about old antique (collectible) reels? I was digging around the basement looking for stuff to throw in my daughters yard sale. I came across some reels that I almost forgot that I had. I have a Wright and Mcgill, Eagle Claw model 88A spin casting reel. Still in the box, never used. With all the paperwork. Still has the original 8lb test line on it. It has a little cardboard thingie on the end of the line with "8" printed on it and the outside of the box says it came with 8lb test.
I also have a couple of Arnold Palmer spinning reels. One is an open face, never used, still in the box. It has the original lifetime guarantee certificate. Also have a closed face, no box or paperwork but obviously never been used.
I am having a hard time finding much info or the value of these. And insight would be greatly appreciated.
