I just bought a used 2011 Z7 with 150 pro xs. It's my first glass boat and looking for opinions. Unless I trim the boat all the way up and hammer the hot floor to the floor I have a lot of boat in the water spray is even with the drivers seat. Trimmed out and hammered down she's on the pad with only a little hull in the water. Is this normal for a z7? Thanks!

welcome to the looney bin ahhhh the forums LOL. Never had a Z so can't comment but it sounds about right.

sounds right to me. If you are fully trimmed there will be less hull in the water. As you trim down the bow will come down and more of the hull will be in the water.

Glass bass boats are designed to run on pad. Deep V boats are meant to plow through the water (for the most part). It is tough to run pad boats at any speed that keeps them off the pad.
