Does it start easy?

I have the same motor...always starts HARD.

Dealer said it is characteristic of the 90...

Is this true???

Hey Andy,



Describe "HARD". When my 90's cold I have to crank her about 4 times (she'll start then stall, start and run for a few seconds then stall, etc....) By the 3rd or 4th she stays running. After that she starts right up and purrs like a kitten all day. Being my first boat I have nothing to compare to, but I think that's hard.

Marke, I have a 90 also and it does just like yours does. I guess it's just cold natured.

They are a little cold natured but mostly it's in the tuning...fortunately I have an excellent tech that can usually get them dialed in pretty good...
