Gentlemen,
I have a 2011 Z8 with 200 ProSX with Jack plate. I have a 25p fury prop. This is my first experience with a fiberglass boat. Been trying to tune it. At first, with jack plate at 3” below centerline, the boat runs about 52 with just me and my gear. 20lbs water psi, 10 ft rooster tail 5300 rpms. I have been raising the Jack plate but not seeing much change. Im up about 1 1/2” on jack plate and still only running about 55, 5300 rpm, 18 psi water, and 10ft rooster tail. It seems that I’m not getting the lift that I need. The water is breaking In front of the console. Hole shot is outstanding. Any ideas would be great. Should I continue to raise the motor or am I too high? Should I try a different prop?
