I am the original owner of my 2005 SuperGuide V14 on a TrailStar Trailer. I want to replace the original grease covers which are not bearing buddies and I also want to replace the wheel hub bearings and seals.
How do I find what parts are needed to replace the bearings and seals? I'd prefer to have the replacement parts in hand before I remove the existing bearings and seals.

An update on information on the trailer which is actually a 2004 trailer, not 2005.
I found this stamped on the back side of the idler hub, GDC 13674.
I guess GDC is out of business.
The hub is a 5 lug with 4 1/2" bolt circle.
There is a welded tag on the axle with the numbers 236433.
The OEM sticker on the trailer frame reads:
Trailer Type WSGV/AVE14
Max Load Capacity 1570
Tire 5.30x12
Rim 12x4.0

If anyone can help with a cross reference number for the GDC idler hub and bearing kits I would greatly appreciate it.

Unless you are fortunate enough to have a member of this forum that has the same trailer and has replaced the bearings and seals, I'd say your options are to contact a trailer parts seller with the idler hub number 13674 or remove one of the wheels and pull the bearings and seals to read the numbers stamped on them.

Valid point, just thought I'd throw my request out there in hopes of getting a bite. I have sent a request to Tracker thru their parts finder website at Tracker Marine Parts Finder , hope I get a response from Tracker.

Just an update on my attempt to get a bearing rebuilt kit for my trailer idler hub prior to pulling the hub and removing the bearings, seal and race. I called Tracker and they said to contact dealer. I called the dealer and they said documentation of the trailstar trailers only goes back to 2006. So I guess my only option is to pull out the hub guts and hopefully there are numbers on the parts, or result to measuring. Fortunately replacing the bearings is not urgent. I thought this would have been an easy project, so I am going to wait until end of my boating and fishing season then pull the hubs, that way I don't miss any water time this season in case I have a hard time getting parts. The boat and trailer have always been stored in a garage since I purchased new in 2005 so no issue putting it on jack stands to work on the hubs if I don't get to it until winter. Once the hubs are off I can measure the spindle too. If needed, I could probably replace the entire hub once I have the spindle measurements and bearing sizes. Thanks for the input 92 Nitro 190dc Owner and olefisherman456. I will plan to post a picture(s) of my boat and setup on the other forum.

Thanks for the update. Once you pull the bearings, seal, and race, you will see the numbers. Unless your hub parts are in terrible condition (doesn't sound like they are), the numbers are easy to read so you should have no need to measure. Keep us posted.
