I just purchased this boat and want to upgrade the original fish finder (a Humminbird Pro 160 SX) to a newer style unit, perhaps a Humminbird Helix 5 or one similar. My question is whether the Helix will operate from the existing transducer that came with the boat. Also, is this Nitro made of a single layer fiberglass or multiple layer? Any help would be appreciated. v10e
