2001 Nx 750 Set Up

Hi new to forum I have a 2001 nitro nx750 here's my set up 2005 115 optimax 19pitch trophy plus prop 5600 rpm wot 45 mph gps 52 mph Speedo 6 in manual jackplate Vance my question how far below pad should I be running and does my speed sound right thanks in advance

I had a 2004 NX750 with a 115 Optimax and a 6” Vance JP. I ran a 22P Laser II (with cup added) to 54 gps and a 21P Trophy plus to 52gps. My best prop to pad was 3.25-3.5. Holeshot sucked with the Laser II though.

Lightweight, that 19 pitch sounds like it might not be enough. Do you have access to a friends 21P or 22P that you could try? I have a 2005 NX750 with a 115 Optimax, 5.5" manual CMC jack plate set at 4" below pad, prop is a laser 2 22P with cup added, and i'm hitting 50 mph GPS in the summer (53 winter) with 5400 RPM. My boat originally came with an aluminum 21P and I was hitting around 48 MPH GPS but my rev limiter alarm would go off.
