I have a 1994 170TF with a 1994 115 Merc and a 24p SS prop. It doesn't want to plane out,(well, after about a week it does)
Dealer says it calls for a 23p.
I only had it out once last year and I don't remember what RPM it was running.
I was thinking it should run about 5250 RPM, that's what the 75hp I had on it ran, with a 21p prop.
Any ideas what prop and RPM I should be running?
