03 Nitro 188 Sport

I just bought an 03 Nitro 188 sport. It didn’t come with a trolling motor but it did come with an aluminum mount with broken parts. There are no part numbers on any of it. Does anyone know what I have or where to get parts? Thank you.

Hello, and welcome to the forum. I have an '07 189 Sport that had the same trolling motor and bracket. I'm pretty sure Nitro quit making them, but you can always check. I always try http://nitroboatparts.com/ first. If they do not make the bracket any longer, you can always have one fabricated. I put a Motorguide Xi5 on mine, and Cabela's built a new mounting plate out of hull material, and then added the Motorguide quick release bracket (on and off in 10 seconds). My experience with the stock trolling motor was that is was underpowered, so the Xi5 has been wonderful, plus the GPS and spotlock are awesome.

Do you know which shaft or thrust your x15 is?
