On my '96 Nitro 160 TF it has a '98 Mercury 90. What was the original outboard on this boat? Anybody got any ideas? Was it a 90 or something smaller? Any help would be appreciated.

I've a '96 160 TF and mine is located about 8" forward of the transom. Mine looks like it had a cover over it at one time.

Same problem with my 160 TF. The fill hole is just large enough to get the gas pump nozzle in. Then when it gets full it spews out.
